Assistant Centre Manager/Educational Leader

With an experienced Centre Director and supportive ownership group, you'll have the autonomy to lead, the support to grow, and the opportunity to make a genuine difference every day.

As our Assistant Centre Manager/Educational Leader, you'll work closely with the Centre Director to support the day-to-day operation of the service while leading educational practice across the centre.

Key responsibilities include:

• Mentoring and supporting educators to deliver engaging, play-based learning programs

• Leading curriculum development in line with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)

• Guiding observation, planning, and assessment practices

• Driving continuous improvement and quality outcomes

• Supporting compliance with the National Quality Framework (NQF) and National Quality Standards (NQS)

• Building strong relationships with children, families, and the local community

• Assisting with leadership and operational responsibilities across the service

• Contributing to a positive, supportive, and high-performing team culture

We're looking for someone who is passionate about early childhood education and enjoys bringing out the best in others.

You will have:

• A Diploma or Bachelor qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care

• Previous leadership experience, or the passion and capability to take the next step in your career

• Strong knowledge of the EYLF, NQF, and NQS

• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills

• The ability to coach, mentor, and inspire a team

• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

• A current Working with Children Check

• Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis qualifications (or willingness to obtain)
