About the role
Join the Whittlesea Mental Health and Wellbeing Locals (WMHWL), an innovative community mental health service delivered by Neami in partnership with Uniting and Drummond Street Services. As an Alcohol and Other Drugs (AOD) Peer Support Worker, you'll use your lived experience of substance use and recovery to provide hope, practical support, and connection to people navigating similar challenges. Working alongside clinicians, peer workers, and community partners, you'll empower individuals to achieve their recovery goals through a holistic, person-centred approach in a service where lived experience is valued and recovery is at the heart of everything we do.

In addition to a salary equivalent to SCHADS Level 3 + super, you can access the following.
You will have a relevant qualification in a health and/or welfare related discipline, or equivalent experience is desirable, but not essential. You will also have:
