Heritage Consultant/Senior Heritage Consultant

GBA Heritage is a medium sized, Sydney CBD-based, heritage consultancy practice. You will join a diverse team of highly qualified heritage staff in working at the highest standards in a collaborative setting.
GBA Heritage’s professional reputation is grounded in its long-standing corporate and professional independence. This enables us to provide specialised heritage services to an unlimited clientele of architects, planners, project managers and legal firms across government, commercial, institutional and
private property ownerships.
You will be able to apply your considerable skills and experience in the heritage field. Expand your familiarity with NSW heritage legislation, improve your heritage assessment and analysis skills, and enhance your communication and project delivery methods, including the preparation of timely and responsible advice and focused reporting.

Applicants for this position will have:
· Architectural and Heritage qualification/s in the Australian context
· Minimum one year experience in Australian Heritage practice
· Skills in liaison and negotiation to facilitate positive heritage outcomes
· Demonstrated historical research skills
· Demonstrated ability to prepare heritage documentation
· Ability to meet multiple deadlines and balance priorities
Desirable, but not essential:
· Post-graduate qualifications in relevant conservation fields
· Australia ICOMOS membership
· Registration as an architect
