Experienced Civil Labourer

Bauen Civil is expanding its site delivery team to support a strong pipeline of subdivision and civil infrastructure work in the Toowoomba region. We're looking for an experienced Civil Labourer to support our crews across a large-scale civil project — a great opportunity to build on your civil construction experience with a growing SEQ civil contractor.

About the role

You'll be based on a large-scale civil subdivision project in the Toowoomba region, mobilising from August 2026 as part of a 12-month program involving earthworks, roads, drainage and services installation. Working under the supervision of the Site Foreman, you'll perform a broad range of physical tasks to support the crew, keeping the site safe, tidy and moving to program.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with a broad range of construction activities across earthworks, drainage, roads and services installation

• Assist with operating and maintaining plant and equipment as directed

• Support trades, operators and supervisors

• Attend daily prestarts, toolbox talks and safety briefings

• Always following WHS requirements

• Communicate effectively with the site team and report any issues promptly

• Contribute to Bauen positive team culture

About you

• Proven experience as a labourer on civil construction or subdivision projects

• Sound knowledge of work health and safety requirements

• Willingness to work in with the team and follow instruction

• Responsible and trustworthy — reliable, punctual, and gets the job done

• Current White Card and Driver's License

• Physically fit and comfortable with manual outdoor work in all weather conditions
