Annual salary $93,577.06 - $100,063.55 per annum + Statutory Superannuation
The City of Norwood Payneham & St Peters is seeking an innovative and community-focused Digital Engagement Officer to join our Library Services team.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about technology, digital literacy and creating meaningful community outcomes. You'll lead the development of innovative digital programs, collaborate with internal and external partners and help ensure our library services remain relevant, accessible and responsive to the evolving needs of our community.
The Role
Reporting to the Manager, Library Services, you will work closely with the Community Resources & Engagement Lead, Customer Experience Lead, Information Services and other teams across Council to:
Identify community needs and develop innovative digital programs and services
Lead projects that improve digital literacy and technology access
Coordinate the implementation of new digital solutions across Library Services
Build strong partnerships with community organisations, government agencies, and technology providers
Research funding opportunities and prepare grant applications
Monitor and evaluate program outcomes using data and community feedback
Provide strategic advice on emerging technologies and digital initiatives

About You
You are a proactive and creative professional with a passion for community engagement and digital innovation and posses the following experience:
Experience developing and delivering community-focused programs
Strong knowledge of digital technologies and digital literacy initiatives
Excellent project management and organisational skills
Outstanding communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate program effectiveness
A collaborative approach and the ability to build productive partnerships
A commitment to inclusive, accessible services for diverse communities
Current driver's licence
National Police Clearance (willingness to obtain through Council processes)
DHS Working with Children Check (willingness to obtain through Council processes)
Chief Fire Warden (willingness to obtain through Council processes)
Emergency First Aid (willingness to obtain through Council processes)
This position works across Council's library sites and requires regular weekend work. Availability on Saturday and Sunday is required.
Experience in libraries, local government, community services or similar public-facing environments will be highly regarded.
