The Opportunity & Responsibilities
We are seeking an experienced
Room Leader to join our team on a
full-time basis, leading our
2–3-year-old Toddler room.
Working on a
monthly rotating roster between 6:30am and 6:30pm, you will work closely with the Centre Manager and leadership team to create an engaging, inclusive and nurturing environment where children can learn, grow and develop confidence through play.
You will be responsible for:
- Leading the daily operations of the Toddler room
- Developing and implementing engaging learning programs aligned with the EYLF
- Supporting children with additional needs through inclusive teaching practices
- Building strong relationships with children, families and educators
- Mentoring and supporting educators within the room
- Creating a safe, nurturing and welcoming environment for every child
- Ensuring compliance with the National Quality Standard, regulations and Aspire policies
- Contributing to a positive, collaborative and supportive centre culture
About You - Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or an ACECQA-approved qualification
- Previous experience working as a Room Leader within an early learning setting
- Experience supporting children with additional needs
- Strong leadership, communication and relationship-building skills
- Sound knowledge of the EYLF, NQS and Child Safe Standards
- Passionate about providing high-quality early childhood education and care
- Current Working with Children Check, First Aid, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certificates
