Part time Psychologist | Aspire Wellness Group | Essendon North VIC
Aspire Wellness Group is seeking a part time Psychologist to join our growing private practice in Essendon North.
This role is ideal for a psychologist who is looking for work in a warm, professional and client-centred clinic environment.
The successful clinician will be working independently onsite and will need to feel confident managing their own clinical sessions, documentation and client interactions. Administrative and practice support will be available, and you will remain connected to the Aspire Wellness Group team.
About the RoleAs a Psychologist, you will provide evidence-based psychological support to clients of Aspire Wellness Group. This may include assessment, therapy, treatment planning and ongoing client care.
This role would suit a psychologist who is comfortable working autonomously, while still being part of a supportive and professional private practice.
What You’ll Be DoingYour responsibilities may include:Providing evidence-based psychological therapeutic interventions to children and their families in line with your experience and scope of practiceConducting intake, assessment and treatment planningMaintaining clear, accurate and timely clinical notesWorking collaboratively with families, referrers and other allied health professionals where appropriateUpholding professional, ethical and organisational standardsManaging sessions independentlyParticipating in supervision or professional development as required
What We’re Looking ForWe are looking for a psychologist who is professional, reliable and genuinely committed to high-quality client care.
The successful applicant will have:Current registration as a Psychologist with AHPRAEligibility for Medicare provider number registrationExperience working with children, adolescents and/or families preferredStrong communication and interpersonal skillsThe ability to build rapport with clients and familiesSound clinical judgement and record-keeping skillsConfidence working independently in a private practice settingProfessional indemnity insurance
