About The Role

We are looking for a consultant who combines deep engineering capability with strong consulting and delivery skills.

This is a hands-on consulting role where you will lead the design and delivery of modern software and AI-enabled solutions across a variety of client environments. You’ll work across modern cloud-native application development, architecture and design, AI-assisted engineering practices and developer workflows, and building AI-enabled products and experiences.

As a lead consultant, you’ll be expected to lead technical conversations with clients, shape solutions under ambiguous conditions, guide delivery outcomes end-to-end, support and mentor engineers, and stay hands-on with architecture, coding and implementation.

You’ll thrive in this role if you enjoy solving hard problems, learning quickly, and helping clients move from uncertainty to clarity.

About You

You’re an experienced software engineer and technical consultant with broad exposure across modern technology ecosystems.

You’ve likely spent years working across different languages, frameworks, cloud platforms and delivery environments, giving you the adaptability to move between projects and solve unfamiliar problems quickly.

You have been an early adopter in the AI transformation, and have practical experience using AI tools in delivering outcomes in production, and able to lead harness engineering.

Beyond AI-assisted engineering, you also have commercial experience designing or developing AI-enabled applications using technologies such as LLM APIs and platforms, RAG, agentic workflows, prompt engineering.

You are comfortable operating in ambiguity, engaging directly with clients, facilitating technical discussions, and balancing pragmatism with engineering quality.

You bring a consulting mindset - listening deeply, asking thoughtful questions, influencing outcomes, and helping teams move forward effectively.

Tech Skills

12+ years of commercial software engineering experienceStrong full-stack engineering capability across modern back-end and front-end ecosystems, such as Java, C#/.net, Node / Typescript, Python, Go, Typescript/JavaScript, React, Next.js, Angular, VueStrong understanding of modern software architecture and distributed systemsExperience designing and delivering solutions from concept through to productionStrong understanding of testing, CI/CD, DevOps and engineering quality practicesCommercial experience with cloud-native platformsExperience with IaC, containerisation and deployment automationCommercial experience using AI tooling to improve software delivery and engineering workflowsExperience building or integrating AI-enabled applicationsPractical experience with LLMs, RAG architectures, agentic workflowsStrong understanding of Agile and lean delivery practices, with experience shaping backlogs, defining milestones and delivering iteratively
