Electrician

We are currently seeking a full-time qualified Electrician with a wide range of experience that has well practiced knowledge in both the industrial and service/maintenance categories of the industry. All applicants must have a strong ability to fault find on control systems, be able to apply fault finding with or without electrical drawings and be prepared to be exposed to a variety of control systems in multiple working environments.

In this role, you will be working throughout the region carrying out fault finding on various manufacturing equipment and small installations jobs. To thrive in this role, you will be eager to learn and adapt to an ever-changing industry. Have the ability to problem solve, work well under pressure, along with a positive attitude, the willingness to challenge yourself and go the extra mile. The right candidate will play an integral part in the future expansion of our company.

This position may include some shift work to suit our client’s needs.

To be successful in this role, you should have:

• A current QLD Electrical Fitter/Mechanic licence.

• 3-5 years post trade experience.

• White/Blue Construction Induction card.

• Experience in fault finding in the manufacturing sector.

• Be able to fault find without electrical drawings.

• Experience in installation works.

• A current manual QLD drivers licence.

• Current CPR & LVR certificate.

• Exposure to PLC’s and control circuits.

• Sound knowledge of AS/NZS 3000.

• Proficient testing of installation works.

• Proficient knowledge of electrical drawings.

• Experience with complex installation works.

• Ability to work unsupervised.

• Excellent customer relations and time keeping.

• A team player approach.

• A flexible attitude.
