Safety Administrator / Coordinator

Due to continued business growth, we have multiple opportunities available to join our friendly and experienced team. Our modern, newly renovated office is conveniently located in Kingsgrove, just a short walk from the train station, local shops, and with off-street parking available.

ARA Building Services delivers building repairs and maintenance services to major clients across Australia.

We are currently seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented General Administration & Junior Safety Compliance Coordinator to join our team. This is a dual-role position, providing essential administrative support while assisting with the coordination and monitoring of workplace health and safety initiatives.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is passionate about contributing to a safe and compliant workplace.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate:

• Excellent communication skills

• Strong attention to detail

• Ability to work collaboratively within a team

• Solid computer and administrative skills

• Provide day-to-day administrative support to ensure smooth office operations

• Assist with the development, implementation, and maintenance of WHS policies and procedures

• Maintain accurate records of safety incidents, inspections, and training activities

• Monitor and report on safety performance metrics

• Assist in investigations of incidents and near-misses, including recommending corrective actions

• Support the Safety Manager in preparing for external audits and inspections
