Behaviour Support Practitioner

Aurora Allied Services is a NDIS registered behaviour support and psychology provider looking for skilled Registered Behaviour Support Practitioners/ Psychologists to join our team. Our vision is to support all people to thrive in an authentic way. 

What You’ll Do

• Conduct neuro-affirming and trauma informed assessments.

•  Develop individualised strengths-based person-centred behaviour support plans. 

• Ensure all practices comply with NDIS quality and safeguarding standards.

• Work closely and regularly with clients, teams and families.

• Conduct regular face-to-face visits to build strong therapeutic relationships.

• Produce NDIS required plans within NDIS timeframes and skilled in identifying Restrictive Practices.

• People who have experience working with: children, dementia, severe intellectual disability and mental health, highly advantageous.

• Strong communication skills and a friendly, empathetic approach.

• You hold relevant qualifications with a strong research and report writing skills (e.g., Psychology, Occupational Therapy, Education etc).

• Essential- You hold a current driver’s license and have access to a roadworthy vehicle.

• Essential- You have current NDIS Worker Screening.

• Essential- ABN + Professional indemnity and liability insurance (by commencement date).

• Essential- Current Working with Children Check (WWCC).

• Essential- Registration as a Behaviour Support Practitioner with the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission.

Pay and Capability Framework

Core practitioner $130/hr

Proficient practitioner $150/hr
