Formwork Carpenter

About the role

GCMS brings 20+ years of combined Tier 1 experience to every project. You'll be working on real commercial and industrial builds across Perth Metro — tilt panels, suspended slabs, lift shafts, ground slabs — with a crew that takes pride in the quality of what they pour. No FIFO. No DIDO. You sleep in your own bed.

Key responsibilities

• Formwork erection and stripping across commercial and civil projects — slabs, lift shafts, decks, tilt panels
• Working with PERI Skydeck, RMD, Doka, Ulma, timber and conventional formwork systems
• Precision cutting-in on complex pours and concrete structures
• Reading and working to construction drawings
• Pre-starts, toolbox talks, and SWMS sign-off — done properly

About you

• Precision cutting-in skills on structural pours
• Current White Card (CPCCWHS1001) — essential
• Reliable, hard-working, and a genuine team player
• Real PERI Skydeck experience — not a course, actual on-the-tools work (bonus)
• Ability to read construction drawings (bonus)
• RMD, Doka, or Ulma experience (bonus)
• Working at Heights ticket (bonus)
• RIW card (bonus)
• HR/HC licence (bonus)
• Cert III Carpentry or Formwork/Falsework (bonus)
