Must Have Skills:
Providing Level 2/3 support for UNIX/Linux Production Servers, ensuring high availability, stability, and performance of critical business applications.Managing physical UNIX/Linux servers and hardware infrastructure, including server provisioning, firmware updates, hardware diagnostics, and vendor coordinationExperience supporting production change implementation, patch management, server migrations, and infrastructure upgrade projects.Experience in Disaster Recovery (DR) planning, testing, failover/failback activities, and ensuring business continuity for production environments.Hands-on experience with user administration, filesystem management, LVM, multipathing, kernel tuning, and server security compliance.
Nice to Have Skills:Strong experience in RHEL/SUSE/Linux server administration with expertise in performance tuning and troubleshooting.Understanding of server security hardening, vulnerability remediation, and compliance standardsUnderstanding of Upgrade , patching process for unix servers.Understanding of Linux security hardening, virtualization (VMware), and ITIL-based operational processes.
Detailed Job Description:We are seeking a skilled UNIX Administrator with 4+ years of experience in managing enterprise UNIX/Linux environments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining production servers, supporting disaster recovery activities, performing operating system upgrades and migrations, and ensuring the overall health and availability of critical infrastructure.Administer and support RHEL/UNIX production servers, including system monitoring, performance tuning, troubleshooting, patching, upgrades, and maintenance activities.Manage and maintain physical server hardware, coordinate hardware replacements, firmware upgrades, and support infrastructure lifecycle management.Execute RHEL upgrade and migration projects, ensuring minimal downtime and seamless transition of business-critical applications.Participate in Disaster Recovery (DR) planning, testing, failover, and recovery activities to ensure business continuity and compliance requirements are met.

Certifications (Good to have ): RHCSA, RHCEs
