About the Role
Reporting to the National Business Manager – Cowdroy, you’ll be responsible for developing new business opportunities, managing existing accounts, and achieving sales targets within your designated territory. This is a hands-on role where your technical knowledge and customer service skills will shine.
Key Responsibilities
Achieve sales budgets and targets
Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers
Conduct regular customer visits and communications
Provide detailed customer insights and competitor analysis
Maintain accurate records in Phocas CRM
Deliver professional sales presentations and product training
Prepare quotes and pricing aligned with company guidelines
Mentor new staff and Sales Cadets
Participate in corporate events and contribute to a positive team culture
Ensure compliance with ALG policies and WHS standards
What You’ll Bring
A proven track record within Sales with at least 5 years’ experience in a similar role, preferably in the construction industry
Industry experience in hardware, building products, or related fields
Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills
Ability to work independently and travel interstate
Customer-focused with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and establish strong relationships
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
Current Driver’s License
Tertiary qualifications in sales, marketing, or business (desirable)
