Machine Shop Manager

Kerr Engineering is a large Western Australian fabrication and general engineering company based in Henderson. (within the Australian Marine Complex) Kerr Engineering is a rapidly growing company with an excellent reputation for efficiency, reliability, quality and workmanship.

Kerr Engineering is equipped with ever expanding modern CNC's producing a large variety of components (large and small) for a variety of blue chip companies across Australia.

We are currently looking for a Machine Shop Manager / QA / Inspector

Duties and responsibilities will include:

• Experience with all QA inspection methods including basic measurement, precision instruments, and CNC inspection is required.

• Working to tolerances as specified,

• Reading Drawings,

• General upkeep of equipment. (Housekeeping)

In order to be successful, you must possess the following:

• A minimum of 3-5 years of supervisory experience is required.

• Welding experience with good knowledge of welding Standards.

• Good communication skills,

• Self-motivation (Can do attitude)

• Ability to work unsupervised,

• High level of Commitment

• General upkeep of machines and workshop.
