About the role

We are a well-established boutique Chartered Accounting practice looking for an experienced Intermediate / Senior Accountant to join our team and play a key role in delivering high-quality accounting, taxation and business services to our clients.
ABOUT US
Magri Group is a boutique Chartered Accounting Practice located in North Perth, committed to delivering outstanding taxation and accounting services to our clients.
We pride ourselves on our personalised service, long-standing client relationships, and supportive team culture.
We are seeking an experienced Intermediate / Senior Accountant who can confidently manage client work, prepare financial statements, income tax returns and Business Activity Statements, and assist with taxation, compliance and advisory matters while delivering a high level of service to our clients.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
· Preparing financial statements and income tax returns for companies, trusts, partnerships and individuals.
· Preparing Business Activity Statements (BAS).
· Managing and developing direct relationships with clients, professional advisers and internal and external bookkeepers.
· Assisting with taxation, compliance and advisory matters.
· Working closely with senior team members and Directors.
· Contributing to the improvement of our internal systems and processes.
ABOUT YOU
· Degree qualified in Accounting or Commerce.
· CA/CPA qualified or currently working towards qualification.
· Minimum 2 years’ experience in Australian public practice.
· Knowledge of Australian taxation and accounting requirements.
· Experience preparing financial statements, income tax returns and BAS.
· Strong written and verbal communication skills.
· Excellent organisational and time management skills.
· Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
· A client-focused approach with strong relationship-building skills.
· A proactive attitude and willingness to contribute to the team.
· A positive team player who enjoys working in a friendly and collaborative environment.
· Experience with Xero and MYOB AccountRight is preferred. Experience with Access / HandiSoft would be highly regarded but is not essential.
· Permanent Australian Working Rights.
REMUNERATION
An attractive salary package will be negotiated based on skills and experience.
