About the role:
The position will be based at our Silverwater head office as a full-time Logistics Coordinator. You will join our enthusiastic and energetic head office team. As a part of role, you will oversee logistics department of the business. You will ensure smooth functioning of logistics, accurate reconciliation of inventory on our ERP system, data analysis and order placement for machines and parts, and communication with relevant stakeholders. You will bring analytical and problem-solving skills, a positive attitude with strong accuracy and attention to detail in completing ordering requirements. The role will get opportunity to work within a supportive team environment where your contribution will be respected and recognised.
Key Responsibilities:
Create and Process shipments and orders for machine, accessories, and parts
Reconcile Purchase Orders, Confirmations and any deviations of quantity or date
Utilize forecasting model and data analysis to forecast consumption
Maintain inventory levels to defined quantities and re-order based on urgency
Develop strategies to improve efficiency managing of low value parts while keep cost down
Shipment linking
Liaising and rapport building with transport, logistics, shipping suppliers
Produce reports and statistics regularly
Plan despatches to ensure that client requirements are met in terms of quality, accuracy, and timeliness
Accurate reconciliation between actual inventory and the inventory information stored on our ERP system.
Communication of ETA to internal stakeholders
Stocktake management execution and posting
Stock transaction management – Stock locations
Replenishment planning
Management Reporting
Manage obsolescence and safe and cost-effective disposal of stock
Skills & Experience:
2+ years of logistics experience
Inventory management and reporting experience
ERP system experience (Pronto experience highly regarded)
Exceptional attention to detail with a genuine ability to follow processes and procedures
Ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Strong eye for detail and accuracy with the ability to investigate discrepancies and process variances
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Able to work autonomously, as well as on projects to improve value to the business
Raise and resolve any unexpected issues that may cause delays with any customer orders in a timely manner
Work autonomously while communicating and liaising closely with stakeholders
Advanced Microsoft Office skills – especially in Excel
Capable of operating at a strategic, tactical and operational level
Discreet and diplomatic with the ability to handle sensitive information
Sophisticated communication skills
Ability to multitask and prioritise tasks
