About the Role

As the Senior Manager, Growth and Acquisition, you’ll support senior leaders of the Member Team to deliver the Fund’s national growth strategy, providing key inputs to major tender strategies, responses and governance, as well as the continued evolution of the fund’s employer acquisition strategy.

You’ll be a pivotal contact in support of the Fund’s engagement with employer associations developing the pipeline and increasing market share. 

You’ll lead the Strategic Partnership Managers, coaching and enabling the team to deliver sustainable employer acquisition, strategic alliances and partnership-led growth.

What You’ll Do

• Build and deliver on employer, member and partnership growth strategies.
• Build high-value partnerships, client relationships and new business opportunities using and continually improving segmentation and behavioural insights.
• Build strong connections with key decision-makers, unions and employer associations, and represent the Fund at industry events.
• Support marketing activity and share employer and member insights to improve products and services.
• Develop proposals, oversee sponsorships and coordinate consistent activity across teams.
• Track performance, analyse results and provide insights, benchmarking and updates to stakeholders.
• Lead and coach the team to grow a strong acquisition pipeline through high performance and continuous improvement.

About You

You’ll bring

• Proven ability to self-motivate and motivate a team. 
• Proven ability to build a network across the sector and to build and maintain partnerships and relationships across all levels of stakeholder. 
• Experience with design and implementation of business development strategies, complemented by strong sales, negotiation, and presentation skills 
• Evidence of your ability to improve results through client, employer and member engagement activities. 
• High level competence in data management, analysis and reporting.
• High level of written and oral communications skills, with a confident and professional manner. 

From an industry expertise perspective, you’ll ideally demonstrate:

• Financial services experience and knowledge especially within superannuation, financial planning, retirement savings and wealth management sectors. 
• A strong understanding of the competitors in our sector. 
• A good knowledge of current and proposed superannuation legislation, industry trends and superannuation products.
