Assistant Operations Manager – Rental Minimum Standards

About the Role

You'll support the Operations Manager in running the day-to-day delivery of our rental minimum standards inspections across Melbourne — coordinating inspectors, reviewing reports before they reach the client, and keeping jobs moving on time.

You'll also be a key point of contact for landlords, tenants and property managers, so great communication and customer service are essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Review inspection reports for accuracy, consistency and compliance before client delivery

• Act as the first point of contact for property managers and landlords, resolving queries and escalations

• Provide clear recommendations to landlords, tenants and property managers

• Help onboard, train and support new inspectors as the team grows

• Track turnaround times and job completion, and identify ways to improve how we work

• Maintain a thorough understanding of the Residential Tenancies Regulations and updates to minimum standards

• Manage competing priorities independently and keep the day running smoothly

What We're Looking For

To be successful in this role, you'll have:

• Experience in operations/property manager, or trades coordination

• Full/current driver's licence

• Reliable vehicle

• Strong communication and customer service skills

• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills

• The ability to work autonomously and stay calm under pressure

• Working knowledge of Victorian rental minimum standards is desirable
