Pump Technician - Service | Fire Protection

FCF is an industry leader in providing essential fire safety & training services, electrical services and building compliance requirements to our customers.

We are looking for a fully qualified Sprinkler Fitter/ Pumpset Technician located in Sydney to join our growing team. Duties include performing fire pump testing, fire equipment testing, installation, rectification and maintenance.

To be considered for this role it is ESSENTIAL that you have -

• Sprinkler/Pump/Plumbing Trade Qualifications (required).

• Organised, Self-motivated, able to work Autonomously and efficiently.

• Fluent with requirements under applicable industry Australian Standards, Legislation and Regulations.

• Excellent Communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Exceptional Customer Service focus and flexible attitude.

• FPAS Inspect/Test accreditation will be highly regarded but not required.

• Past experience test/inspect to AS1851 will be highly regarded.

• A sound knowledge of the BCA.

• Open Manual Drivers Licence.

Job Key Responsibilities

• Carry out annual pumpset servicing/routine maintenance.

• Carry out routine maintenance/flow test of hydrant and sprinkler systems.

• Carry out general hose reel works service/rectifications.

• Carry out Fire Hydrant 5 yearly works such as overhauls.

• Carry out and inspect/test general fire protection systems and provide assistance to other technicians.

• This role is a service based role.
