Senior - Corporate Tax

ESV has entered an exciting growth phase and we're after an experience accountant with a passion for Business Advisory and Taxation. We are a market leader in providing business advisor and taxation services to businesses, family groups and high net wealth individuals. Our clients range from dynamic start-ups to listed entities, large family groups and inbounds.

Our tax team provide strategic tax consulting in the areas of:

• Corporate and international tax

• Reviewing tax provisions

• Deferred tax calculations

• Preparation of detailed memorandums of advice (we do some really interesting work)

• Tax controversary

Your Role

• Provision of taxation and business advice to various clientele.

• Review of accounts & tax returns, including compliance with all accounting standards.

• Provide tax advice where appropriate.

• Compliance obligations, payroll tax, land tax, fringe benefit tax, stamp duty and the ASIC requirements.

• Liaise with clients concerning management accounts and handle all client enquiries.

• Ability to take on project work as part of the overall business needs.

• Technical research.

• Involvement in internal training and other committees.

Qualifications for Success

• Minimum of 4 years in a professional practice

• Ability to manage large and complex groups and clients.

• Experience managing workflow.

• Able to delegate and review junior employees work, ensuring it is completed to budget and of a high standard.

• Strong leadership skills, including the ability to manage expectations and develop strong morale within the team.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Highly motivated and able to work autonomously.

• CA qualified.
