Commis Chef

We’re looking for a commis chef to join our team. You will have the opportunity to work for an up and coming independently owned hospitality group that values and nurtures their employees to maximise performance and personal growth.

You will be working alongside a passionate Head Chef as part of the kitchen team assisting with the preparation, cooking and plating of meals during service periods. 

Essential Attributes:

• Previous professional kitchen experience

• You can work with autonomy to manage your own time and follow direction while un-supervised

• Positive attitude contributing to a positive work environment and be a team player

• Attention to detail and a passion for food quality, presentation and consistency

• Punctual, reliable and presentable

• Sense of urgency and strong time management skills

• Experience in a fast-paced kitchen operation
