As the building management division of one of Melbourne's leading residential property groups, we are recognised for delivering exceptional service, strong stakeholder relationships and operational excellence across a portfolio of residential communities.
We're now seeking an experienced and customer-focused Building Manager to join our team at one of our premium CBD/Southbank properties.
This is far more than a facilities management role. You'll be the trusted face of the building, balancing resident relationships, contractor management, maintenance coordination and operational oversight to ensure the property continues to perform at its best.

The OpportunityReporting to the Operations Manager, you'll be responsible for the day-to-day management and operational performance of a residential community in Melbourne's CBD/Southbank precinct.
You will work closely with residents, contractors, Owners Corporation Managers and committees to ensure the building is presented to the highest standard, operates efficiently and delivers an exceptional living experience.
Key responsibilities include:
Managing daily building operations and resident enquiriesCoordinating planned and reactive maintenance programsConducting regular inspections of common areas, plant and building servicesMonitoring essential services, lifts, HVAC, security, fire and life safety systemsManaging contractors, inductions, site access and performance standardsSupporting compliance requirements and maintenance reportingAssisting with capital works, building improvement projects and sustainability initiativesMonitoring access control, security systems and CCTV operationsManaging resident communications and building portal requestsAttending meetings and providing operational updates to key stakeholdersSupporting site teams and driving a positive building culture and community environment
About YouWe're looking for someone who takes pride in delivering exceptional service, building strong relationships and maintaining high standards across every aspect of a property.
You'll bring:
Previous experience in Building Management, Facilities Management, Property Management or a related roleStrong knowledge of residential building operations and maintenance practicesExperience coordinating contractors, service providers and tradesOutstanding customer service and stakeholder management skillsStrong written and verbal communication skillsThe ability to build rapport with residents, committees and contractors alikeExcellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approachStrong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing prioritiesCompetent skills across Microsoft Office and property management systemsExperience with access control, CCTV or security systems will be highly regardedLeadership or team supervision experience will be viewed favourably
