About the role
About Us
Catchment Simulation Solutions (CSS) is a specialist flood and water resources engineering company. We strive for innovation and are previous recipients of the FMA IAG Flood Risk Management Project of the Year (2024).
We predominantly work on projects across NSW and Australia. We like to focus on a balanced workload for our staff and work on a range of projects that include:
Flood Studies and Floodplain Management Studies
Flood Risk Assessments
Water Resources
We have also developed several software products that we continue to improve upon and support including Storm Injector and CatchmentSIM.
About You
At this time, we are seeking an applicant with 3-5 years of experience in flooding investigations within Australia. You would ideally provide the following contributions to the team:
Familiarity with building, running and interpreting TUFLOW models
Familiarity with building, running and interpreting Australian hydrologic models (e.g., WBNM, XP-RAFTS, DRAINS)
