Relief Duty Manger

About the role

Manage Club operations during allocated Duty Manager shifts, supervise and support staff across bars, gaming, reception and operational areas, and provide a high level of customer service to members and guests. Ensure compliance with RSA, RCG, liquor licensing and Club policies, monitor patron behaviour and maintain a safe, responsible environment. Manage incidents, complaints and operational issues professionally, oversee cash handling, reconciliations and end-of-shift procedures, and assist with gaming operations, security, emergency procedures and WHS requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Manage Club operations during allocated Duty Manager shifts

• Supervise and support staff across bars, gaming, reception and operational areas

• Provide a high level of customer service to members and guests

• Ensure compliance with RSA, RCG, liquor licensing and Club policies

• Monitor patron behaviour and maintain a safe, responsible environment

About you

• Previous supervisory or management experience in a licensed Club, hotel or hospitality venue

• Current RSA and RCG

• RCGO / Advanced Responsible Conduct of Gambling qualification preferred

• Strong leadership, communication and customer service skills

• Confidence dealing with difficult situations and patron management

• Sound knowledge of gaming, liquor and Club compliance requirements

• Strong cash handling and reconciliation experience

• Ability to work independently and make sound operational decisions

• Availability to work nights, weekends and public holidays
