Night Auditor (Part-time - 3-4 nights)

We currently have the opportunity for a customer service orientated professional to join our friendly Front Office team in the role of night auditor. This position offers you the opportunity to work in a truly unique hotel property in an exceptional team environment that fosters training and development and career progression. 

In this role you will report to the Rooms Division Manager and will be responsible for Night Auditing duties which include:

• Checking and balancing the day's takings from the hotels outlets

• Ensuring accurate charges to our guest's rooms

• Ensuring the safety and security of our guests

• Completing the night audit process, reconciliation and excel reporting

• Front Office duties such as checking in late arrivals or settling accounts of early departures

• Assisting the team with guest requests, including check-in and out, switchboard operations and reservations

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualities:

• Previous experience with a property management system. 

• Exceptional customer service skills, communication and time management skills

• A friendly and outgoing personality

• Proven ability to work unsupervised

• A willingness to use initiative and strong problem solving skills

• Strong analytical skills with a high level of computer literacy and accuracy

• Ability to work evening shifts 11pm to 7am. Be reliable and flexible with the ability to work all shifts including nights and weekends

Qualifications

• Qualifications in Accounting and/or finance is desirable however not essential
