Job Description

We are seeking 2 x Electrical Service Technicians with strong mechanical background or exposure to join a high-performing field service team supporting critical rail and port operations across Victoria.

Operating in a 24/7 environment, this role supports a major national freight and logistics operation, ensuring high availability and reliability of complex crane and industrial lifting equipment.

Inspecting, servicing, and maintaining cranes and heavy industrial equipmentPerforming preventative, corrective, and emergency breakdown maintenanceDiagnosing and resolving complex electrical faults with mechanical interaction understandingSupporting repairs, installations, commissioning, and retrofit worksResponding to urgent breakdowns in a 24/7 operational environmentWorking closely with site operations teams and stakeholdersCompleting accurate service reports, safety documentation, and job updatesEnsuring all work is delivered safely, efficiently, and to specificationWhy This Role Stands Out

Qualifications

Fully qualified Electrical Licence (essential)Electrical service experience with mechanical background or strong mechanical exposureStrong fault-finding and troubleshooting capability in industrial environmentsAbility to work in high-pressure, time-critical situationsStrong communication and teamwork skillsCommitment to safety, quality, and reliabilityExperience in cranes, heavy industry, rail, or similar environments highly regarded
