About the role
We are seeking a qualified Speech Pathologist to join dedicated team in delivering high-quality speech and language services.
In this role, you will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating individuals with communication and swallowing disorders across various age groups.
The ideal candidate will collaborate with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to develop and implement effective treatment plans tailored to individual needs.
Key responsibilities include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' speech, language, and swallowing capabilitiesCreating and implementing individualized treatment plans based on assessment outcomesProviding therapy sessions aimed at improving communication and swallowing skillsDocumenting client progress and maintaining meticulous records as per compliance standardsEducating clients and families about communication disorders and recommended interventionsParticipating in multidisciplinary team meetings to contribute to holistic client care
Requirements
The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications and skills:
A degree in Speech Pathology from an accredited institutionCurrent registration with Speech Pathology AustraliaA minimum of two years of experience in assessing and treating communication disordersExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively within a teamDemonstrated ability to manage time effectively and maintain organized recordsCommitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with best practices in the field
