About the roleKick-start a career in wine warehousing and logistics, with hands-on, structured training that brings you close to some of the great wines of the world from day one. Cinderella Wine Experience, based in Redfern, is looking for an entry-level Wine Cellar team member to help run the daily flow of wine in and out of our warehouse.
About Cinderella Wine Experience Cinderella Wine Experience is a collection of knowledgeable and passionate wine people based in Redfern, Australia. We hand select wines worth experiencing, savouring & sharing from Australia and around the world.
Key responsibilitiesReceive and check incoming wine deliveriesPick, pack and dispatch orders accuratelyCoordinate with couriers, freight and external warehouse/drop shipping partnersManage stock records, stocktakes and warehouse organisationOpen and close the building, and take responsibility for site securitySupport occasional evening events and liaise with suppliersHandle direct sales to consumers, including phone and online enquiries and orders
About youWilling to learn, full training given, no prior warehousing or wine experience required, but prior industry experience is highly regarded.A sharp eye for detailComfortable talking with customers and confident handling direct sales enquiriesAble to lift and carry up to 20kg regularly and manage repetitive physical tasksSafety-conscious, with a genuine sense of responsibility for site securityHold, or are willing to obtain, a current NSW Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificationAvailable Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm, with occasional flexibility for evening eventsHave the right to live and work in AustraliaExperience in a bottle shop, cellar door, hospitality, or warehouse and logistics setting is a bonus, not essential
