Dental Nursing Assistant/ Reception

About the role

Berkeley Vale Dental Surgery is seeking a reliable and versatile Dental Nursing Assistant/Reception to join our solo dental practice on a casual basis ( Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Hours are negotiable.)

What you'll be doing

• Providing administrative and reception support, including scheduling appointments, greeting patients, and managing enquiries

• Assisting dental practitioners during clinical procedures by preparing treatment areas and ensuring instruments are properly sterilised and maintained

• Maintaining a clean, organised and hygienic environment throughout the practice

• Managing patient payments and processing billing information

What we're looking for

• Experience in dental assisting or reception preferred, though we welcome applications from enthusiastic candidates willing to undertake training

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact professionally with patients and team members

• High level of organisational ability and attention to detail

• Reliability, punctuality and flexibility to work on a casual basis as required

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment whilst maintaining a calm and patient demeanour

• Good understanding of dental health and hygiene practices

• Proficiency with dental software and general computer skills, or willing to learn
