RSA is a well-established, family-owned structural engineering consultancy founded in 1975. We are a recognised and trusted name within the mining, industrial, and construction engineering sectors, particularly across Northwest Australia.

Due to sustained growth, we are seeking a Senior Chartered Structural Engineer (CPEng) to join our Perth-based structural engineering team.

About the Role

This is a senior-level Civil / Structural Engineering position with a strong technical and leadership focus.

The role is primarily office-based in Myaree, with occasional site inspections.

Key responsibilities include:

• Structural engineering design and documentation for mining, industrial, commercial, and residential projects

• Civil and structural engineering calculations using first-principles engineering

• Structural remediation assessments, reporting, and temporary works design

• Project management and coordination with clients, contractors, and consultants

• Preparation of engineering reports, specifications, and construction documentation

• Technical leadership and mentoring of graduate and junior structural engineers

• Delivery of practical, cost-effective, and constructible engineering solutions

Skills & Experience Required

• Minimum 5 years' experience in a structural engineering design office

• Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) or actively working toward chartership

• Candidates should hold current CPEng certification or be in the near completion stages of the chartership process

• Must hold current CPEng status or be actively progressing towards chartership

• Engineers Australia–accredited degree in Civil Engineering (Structural)

• Strong background in structural design, analysis, and documentation

• Experience in mining and industrial projects (highly regarded)

• Mining and industrial project experience is preferred and highly valued for this position

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to manage multiple projects and work both independently and within a team
