Role Description This full-time Carpenter role is based on-site in Sydney, NSW. The Carpenter will work on a range of projects including renovations, new builds, heritage work, fitouts, and remedial construction. Day-to-day tasks include measuring, cutting, and installing timber and other materials; framing walls, floors, and roofs; and performing finish carpentry such as doors, skirting, architraves, and cabinetry. The role involves safe and competent use of hand and power tools, interpreting plans and drawings, collaborating with site supervisors and other trades, and maintaining a clean, organized work area. The Carpenter is expected to follow safety procedures, meet project deadlines, and deliver work that aligns with company quality standards.
Qualifications
Strong Carpentry skills, including experience across structural and finish work.Proficiency with Hand Tools and Power Tools, with a focus on safe operation and maintenance.Experience in Framing, including walls, floors, and roof structures.Demonstrated Finish Carpentry capabilities for detailed interior and exterior work.Relevant trade qualification or apprenticeship in carpentry.Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.Solid understanding of construction site safety practices and regulations.Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively in a team and independently.Current driver’s license and ability to travel to sites across Sydney, NSW.
