Due to continued growth and upcoming projects, Matic Transport Australia is seeking experienced MC Truck Drivers to join our team at our Darwin Operations. This position will be for local deliveries and is ideal for candidates with a flexible schedule and the ability to work across varying shifts, including nights and weekends.
This is a Full-time position, with a possibility of 50+ hours per week. We offer a variety of roster options, ensuring we provide flexibility to suit your lifestyle. If you're passionate about transport and have the drive to succeed, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
Operating MC trucks for local deliveries
Capability to drive across varying road conditions
Complying with company OH&S procedures and safety regulations
Completing pre-employment driver medical assessments
Adhering to fatigue management regulations and Chain of Responsibility (CoR)
Respect for all staff, clients, and business partners, contributing to a positive and collaborative work environment
Desired Skills and Experience:
Current MC Licence is essential
Previous experience operating pneumatic tankers is highly regarded, but not essential – full on-site training provided
Solid driving record and ability to work autonomously
Strong knowledge of road transport legislation, including CoR
National Police Clearance
Ability to work remotely in isolated locations
Basic mechanical knowledge is a plus
Ability to work a flexible, casual schedule across a variety of shifts
Forklift licence (desirable but not essential)
