Warehouse & Yard Allrounder

About the Role

Merlo Group Australia is offering an exciting opportunity for a motivated and reliable individual to join our team as a Warehouse & Yard Allrounder.

In this hands-on role, you’ll play an important part in keeping our yard and warehouse running smoothly, supporting the arrival, storage, and dispatch of machines, attachments, and parts, and helping maintain a safe and organised workspace.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Wholegoods Arrival & Dispatch

• Assist with receiving and unpacking containers of machines, attachments, and parts.

• Inspect incoming stock and report any damage or discrepancies.

• Support the safe loading and unloading of equipment.

• Help complete all required documentation for receipt or dispatch.

• Store stock correctly to prevent damage or rust.

• Assist with hazard risk assessments as required.

Stock Management & Maintenance

• Help clean, inspect, and maintain stock to ensure readiness for dispatch or demonstration.

• Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records and audit documentation.

• Support the service team in identifying and resolving minor faults.

Warranty Parts Control

• Ensure secure and organised storage of warranty parts.

• Assist with the controlled disposal of expired parts.

General Yard & Warehouse Duties

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment.

• Participate in regular stocktakes and basic inventory checks.

• Follow all company policies and safety procedures.

Health, Safety & Environment

• Learn and follow safe work practices at all times.

• Take part in safety training and workplace audits.

• Report any hazards, incidents, or near misses promptly.

WORK REQUIREMENTS

• Intermediate computer skills.

• Moderate physical activity, including lifting up to 15kg.

• Ability to stand, bend, reach, and perform hands-on tasks.

• Comfortable working in a workshop or warehouse environment.

• Ability to follow instructions and safety guidelines at all times.

• Forklift licence preferred, or willingness to obtain one.
