Our Opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity for a warm, customer-focused Dental Assistant/Receptionist to join our nib Melbourne partner centre on a permanent part-time basis. This role is largely reception-focused, ideal for someone who loves front-desk work and creating a great first impression for patients, with the potential to support chair-side duties from time to time.
Our modern 10-chair practice delivers a wide range of dental treatments, and you'll be part of a close-knit, welcoming team dedicated to providing a perfect patient experience every time.

• Availability across Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and weekends is essential - higher hourly weekend rates apply!
• General reception duties, including processing payments and managing appointments, with occasional chair-side support as needed
• Located in the heart of Melbourne, with public transport access nearby and all the benefits of inner-city working

Your Skills and Attributes

Above all, you're friendly, enthusiastic, and dedicated, with the ability to build rapport quickly. You'll also bring:

• Experience as a Dental or Medical Receptionist is essential; chair-side and sterilisation Dental Assistant experience is highly regarded
• Excellent organisational skills, with experience managing patient appointments
• Strong understanding of sterilisation and infection control protocols
• Delivery of safe, empathetic patient care at all times, and a collaborative team player
• Reliability, punctuality, and a desire for high standards
