Data Mapping and Source-to-Target Mapping (STM) documentation

We are seeking a skilled Onshore ETL Technical Business Analyst to bridge the gap between business stakeholders and data engineering teams. The role involves analysing data requirements, defining transformation logic, and ensuring high-quality data integration across systems. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in data analysis, ETL processes, and stakeholder engagement.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements & Analysis

Gather and analyze business and data requirements from stakeholdersTranslate business needs into functional and technical specificationsDefine and document Source-to-Target Mapping (STTM)

Data Analysis & Profiling

Analyze source systems, schemas, and data flowsPerform data profiling, validation, and quality assessmentIdentify data issues, gaps, and inconsistencies

ETL & Data Integration Support

Collaborate with ETL developers to:Define data transformation rulesSupport data cleansing and enrichment requirementsEnsure data lineage and traceability

Support integration across multiple systems

Documentation

Create and maintain:Source-to-Target Mapping documentsData dictionaries and metadataProcess and data flow diagrams

Document business rules and transformation logic

Testing & Validation

Develop test scenarios, test cases, and expected resultsSupport SIT and UAT cyclesValidate ETL outputs against business requirements and data rules

Stakeholder Management

Act as a liaison between business, data engineers, and QA teamsFacilitate discussions, clarify requirements, and resolve issuesProvide regular status updates and documentation

Minimum Years of Experience : 8 Years
