About The Role

We’re seeking a detail-oriented Management Accountant to support reporting, analysis and financial operations across a key client account.

This hands-on role will see you working closely with operational and finance teams to deliver and support accurate reporting, support budgeting and forecasting, and ensure financial controls are met. You’ll play a key role in month-end processes, reconciliations, and continuous improvement initiatives, while partnering with non-finance stakeholders to drive outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Support monthly reporting including journals, analysis, and commentaryPrepare balance sheet reconciliations (prepayments, provisions, accruals)Assist with annual budgets and periodic forecastsConduct financial analysis including variance and trend reviewsPartner with operational teams to ensure financial deliverables are metRespond to stakeholder and supplier queries in a timely mannerMaintain compliance with financial controls and audit requirementsAssist with process improvements and ad hoc finance projectsDevelop and maintain financial reporting documentation.

About You

Must be an Australian Citizen and willing to undergo a security clearance process.(please state this clearly on your CV)Experience in finance, accounting, or financial analysis rolesStrong reconciliation and reporting experienceAdvanced Excel skills; Power BI or Anaplan experience highly regardedExperience with financial systems is preferred (JDE, SAP, Oracle, or similar)Excellent attention to detail and time management skillsStrong communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholdersAbility to manage competing deadlines in a fast-paced environmentProactive, solutions-focused, and able to work independently
