Melbourne Tractors have an exciting opportunity at our Somerton head office for an ambitious and passionate individual to join our team as a Pre Delivery Technician due to exceptional growth in sales
  
Reporting directly to the Service Manager, this role will be responsible for carrying out pre-delivery checks, accessory fitments to excavators from the smallest to the biggest in size, Skid steers and other various Machines as well as other general duties involving Bucket and attachment sorting.
  
Duties will include:
  

• Pre-delivery of excavators and other various Earth moving Machines

• Performing quality installations of accessories

• Completing inspections prior to Machines being delivered 

• Safe manoeuvring of vehicles in and around the workshop

• Ensuring commitment and compliance to WHS

You will ideally possess:
  

• Hold a current Driver's License

• Knowledge and experience as a Pre-Delivery Technician / Accessory fitter

• Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure

• Great organisation abilities

• Forklift licence

• Punctual and Reliable

• Attention to Detail 

• Ability to work autonomously & as part of a team

• Must have own hand tools

Light Vehicle Mechanics, Truck Mechanics, Auto Electricians, Plant Mechanics, Ag Mechanics, Small Engine Mechanics or anyone mechanically minded are encouraged to apply
