Senior Project Manager

THE ROLE

Key Responsibilities

• Provide end-to-end leadership of a major industrial construction project from mobilisation through to commissioning and handover
• Develop, maintain and monitor detailed project programmes, ensuring delivery against key milestones, budget and quality objectives
• Lead multidisciplinary project teams and manage subcontractors across multiple work fronts
• Drive stakeholder engagement and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, regulators and delivery partners
• Manage project governance, reporting, risk and commercial outcomes
• Oversee quality assurance, quality control and commissioning activities to ensure successful project completion
• Coordinate complex interfaces across civil, structural, mechanical, piping, electrical and control systems
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental and project-specific requirements

ABOUT YOU

• Relevant Trade Qualification or a tertiary qualification in Engineering, Construction Management or related discipline
• Proven experience delivering large-scale industrial construction projects valued in excess of $50M
• Experience within sectors such as fuel terminals, gas processing facilities, water treatment plants, energy, chemicals, heavy industry or similar process infrastructure 
• Strong understanding of Structural, Mechanical & Piping (SMP) project delivery
• Demonstrated experience delivering projects involving pipelines, SCADA, HV/LV electrical infrastructure, control systems and complex systems integration is highly desirable 
• Extensive commissioning and quality management experience within industrial or process plant environments
• Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills
• Strong programme development, planning and project controls capability
• Collaborative leadership style with the ability to drive performance across project teams
