The Opportunity
Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Structural Revit Drafter / Modeller to join our Adelaide Structural team.
This is a hands-on structural drafting role suited to someone with strong Revit skills who enjoys working closely with engineers and contributing to a diverse range of structural projects. You will be responsible for developing accurate, practical and high-quality documentation, working across projects from design development through to construction.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Producing high-quality structural drawings and documentation using Revit and AutoCAD
Developing and maintaining Revit models, plans, sections, details and schedules
Interpreting engineering designs, mark-ups and sketches and translating them into clear and accurate documentation
Implementing design revisions and maintaining drawing and document control
Working closely with Structural Engineers to develop practical and constructible design solutions
Identifying and resolving drafting, modelling and coordination issues
Ensuring documentation complies with relevant Australian Standards, project requirements and TMK drafting standards
Contributing to the development and improvement of Revit workflows, templates, and drafting standards
Supporting knowledge sharing and assisting junior team members as your experience develops
About You
You are a technically capable and quality-focused Structural Revit Drafter / Modeller with a strong eye for detail and a commitment to producing accurate, high-quality structural documentation. You’re confident working with engineers and other disciplines, enjoy solving technical challenges, and are motivated to build on your Revit skills and structural drafting experience.
You will bring:
Certificate IV in Engineering Drafting or equivalent qualification
3+ years of structural drafting experience, preferably within an engineering consultancy
Strong proficiency in Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD
Demonstrated experience producing detailed structural drawings and documentation
A sound understanding of structural engineering principles and construction methods
The ability to interpret engineering drawings, mark-ups and design information
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing accurate, consistent work
Good organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with engineers, consultants and other stakeholders
A collaborative approach and willingness to learn and develop
Based in Adelaide, or willing to relocate
Prior experience working within a multidisciplinary engineering consultancy and exposure to a range of structural projects will be highly regarded.
