Job Overview

We are seeking Italian Bilingual Experts to contribute to a language and AI training project focused on improving Italian-language understanding and generation. In this role, you will evaluate Italian audio content, assess linguistic quality and authenticity, and provide detailed feedback based on established guidelines.

No prior AI experience is required. Strong Italian language proficiency, English communication skills, and attention to detail are the key requirements for this role.

Key Responsibilities

Listen to audio clips in Italian and evaluate the nativeness, fluency, and overall linguistic quality of the speaker or model output. Assess pronunciation, intonation, accent, rhythm, and linguistic authenticity. Identify unnatural phrasing, pronunciation issues, and subtle language differences. Document assessments using clear and concise written feedback in English. Provide detailed explanations and justifications for evaluation decisions. Follow established guidelines, rubrics, and quality standards consistently. Collaborate with project coordinators to clarify requirements and resolve ambiguous language content. Provide linguistic insights to help improve AI models' Italian-language understanding and generation. Complete assigned audio review tasks accurately and within project deadlines. Maintain high standards of quality, consistency, and attention to detail.

Required Qualifications

Native-level proficiency in Italian, with strong command of spoken and written Italian. B2+ proficiency in English, particularly for written and verbal communication. Strong attention to detail and ability to identify subtle linguistic differences. Excellent written communication skills. Strong verbal communication skills. Ability to clearly explain linguistic observations and evaluation decisions. Ability to follow detailed guidelines and apply evaluation criteria consistently. Comfortable working independently in a remote environment.

Preferred Qualifications

Background in linguistics, phonetics, voice specialization, music, audio engineering, communications, or a related field. Experience with audio analysis, transcription, language evaluation, or linguistic assessment. Experience evaluating pronunciation, accents, speech patterns, or voice quality. Background in teaching, media, communications, or language-related roles. Familiarity with AI-generated speech or language technologies is a plus, but not required.
