Martogg & Company is an Australian-owned plastics compounder and resin sales business committed to supporting the local plastics industry. We continue to invest in our modern south-east Melbourne facility, offering the stability of a privately owned company with a strong Australian manufacturing base.

Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Industrial Electrician to join our Afternoon Shift team at our Dandenong site.

The successful applicant will have solid manufacturing experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a small team.

The Role

 The Afternoon Shift Electrician is responsible for maintaining safe, efficient and reliable operations to support on-time, cost-effective delivery.

Shift: Monday to Friday, 11:00 am to 7:00 pm

Core Duties:

•  Follow Australian and company OH&S requirements.

• Conduct preventative and breakdown maintenance on plant and production equipment.

• Diagnose faults and complete troubleshooting and repairs to minimise downtime.

• Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

• Maintain reliable electrical performance to support production and minimise unplanned downtime.

• Accurately record issues, faults and maintenance requirements in the company CMMS system.

• Identify and recommend process improvements.

Skills and Experience Required: 

• A-grade Electrical License.

• At least five years of experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

• Strong technical and critical thinking skills.

• Proficiency with industrial control systems and equipment.

• Experience with PLCs and fault finding.

• Ability to identify and implement process improvements.

• Current forklift license.

• Australian permanent residency or citizenship.
