About the Role:
As aRN/RM or RM, you will performduties with the support and guidance of the Nurse/Midwife Unit Manager, Clinical Nurse and Shift Leaders to ensure a high level of quality patient care is delivered within the unit. You will be responsible for assessing, planning, coordinating and evaluating the care delivery needs of each patient’s individual needs.
Our team prides itself on exceeding Northern Health’s standard of care with a professional and positive attitude by creating a friendly, caring and comfortable environment for its patients. We are seeking motivated, positive and ambitious senior nurses and midwives to deliver outstanding patient care. This is a great opportunity for a Nurse and/or Midwife who would like to progress their career in this area of specialty.
To be successful in this role you will have:
Current qualifications and registration with AHPRA aseither a Registered Nurse/Midwife orRegistered Midwife.Ability to rotate across all areas (including Antenatal Clinic, Birthing Suite, Maternity Unit, Maternity Assessment Centre & Domiciliary) Current FSEP minimum Level 2and Level 3 for Maternity Assessment Centre Ability to assess, plan, coordinate and evaluate care delivery needs of patientsAbility to work night duty- non-negotiableAn ability to provide clear patient education and instructionSound computer literacy and documentation skills
