About the Role
DCC is seeking an experienced Change Lead to support the successful delivery, adoption and sustainability of strategic initiatives across our organisation. Working across a diverse portfolio of organisational priorities, you will partner with leaders, project sponsors and subject matter experts to help our people navigate change and embed new ways of working.
Your portfolio will span initiatives including technology and digital transformation, organisational culture and workforce programs, business improvement and operational excellence, governance, mergers and acquisitions, and the ongoing implementation of the Sanctuary Model. You will focus on the people side of change by understanding impacts, preparing the organisation, building leadership capability, supporting adoption and ensuring change is meaningful and sustainable.
Key responsibilities include:
Develop and implement practical change management approaches across multiple strategic initiatives
Conduct change impact and readiness assessments, identifying risks, barriers and mitigation strategies
Develop stakeholder engagement, adoption and implementation plans
Partner with leaders and project sponsors to understand impacts and prepare teams for change
Support technology and digital projects by driving employee readiness, engagement and adoption
Translate complex or technical change into clear, practical information for employees and leaders
Support the embedding of new systems, processes, behaviours and ways of working
Support DCC's ongoing Sanctuary Model implementation and broader culture, engagement and organisational capability initiatives
Coach and support leaders to navigate change, manage resistance and reinforce desired behaviours
Facilitate workshops, consultations, forums and change readiness activities
Develop leader toolkits, presentations, FAQs, briefing papers, user guides and other change resources
Coordinate change activities across multiple concurrent projects, tracking milestones, dependencies, risks and outcomes
Monitor adoption, stakeholder feedback and change outcomes to identify opportunities for continuous improvement
Prepare change updates, reporting and insights for Executive and Senior Leadership
About You
You are an experienced change professional who understands that successful transformation goes beyond launching a new system, process or initiative by bringing people with you on the journey. You're comfortable moving between strategy and delivery, whether you're advising a senior leader, facilitating a workshop, developing an adoption strategy or working alongside a project team to solve an implementation challenge.
You build credibility quickly, communicate with clarity and can confidently navigate competing priorities and different stakeholder perspectives. Importantly, you are pragmatic and able to turn strategic objectives and change methodologies into approaches that make sense in the real world.
You will bring:
Demonstrated experience in organisational change, organisational development, strategic projects, business improvement or a related discipline
Experience supporting complex change involving people, process, technology and/or culture
Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing capability across operational through to executive levels
Experience developing change plans, impact assessments, stakeholder strategies, readiness activities and adoption approaches
Excellent written communication, presentation and facilitation skills
Strong project coordination skills and the ability to manage multiple concurrent initiatives
Analytical and critical-thinking capability, with the confidence to identify risks and recommend practical solutions
Experience supporting organisational culture or behavioural change
The ability to translate strategy into clear and achievable implementation activities
A collaborative, adaptable approach and commitment to DCC's values, trauma-informed practice and cultural safety

$110,000 per annum plus superannuation

Qualifications/Requirements
Tertiary qualifications in Business, Human Resources, Organisational Psychology, Communications, Project Management or a related discipline is desirable
Demonstrated experience delivering or supporting organisational change, strategic initiatives or business improvement
Proven experience supporting complex organisational change involving people, process, technology and/or culture
Demonstrated stakeholder engagement, facilitation and influencing capability
Experience within community services, disability, health, aged care or the not-for-profit sector is desirable
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities, projects and competing deadlines
Valid Australian Driver's Licence (Open or P2)
Working with Children Check (Blue Card), or ability to obtain
NDIS Worker Screening Check (Yellow Card), or ability to obtain
National Police Check
Satisfactory Licensed Care Service (LCS) screening outcome
Ability to undertake occasional travel as required
