About the Role
As a Crew Leader (Civil Delivery), you will lead and coordinate civil construction and maintenance crews across multiple work sites, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently, and to a high standard. You will supervise daily activities, monitor work programs, support staff development, and ensure compliance with Council policies, quality standards, and legislative requirements.
This specific Crew Leader position is responsible for Council’s Asphalt Paver Crew. In addition to the above, you will lead and supervise an 11-person crew in the delivery of asphalt paving operations across the Townsville region.
Working closely with the Team Leader Construction, you will contribute to the delivery of road maintenance, capital road works, and other municipal infrastructure projects that support our growing community.

You are a safety-focused leader with extensive experience in civil construction and municipal infrastructure works. You possess strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes for the community.
