The Position
The Business Lead, Resource Recovery is accountable for the specialist development, administration and management of procurement processes across the Resource Recovery team and will have a close working relationship with the resource recovery, procurement and economic development teams to support the development of the Albury Waste Management Centre and the regional circular economy.
The role will undertake administer key resource recovery contracts, such as the kerbside collection contract and materials recovery and lead the development of procurement processes across the site. The role will also lead the development of business opportunities and grant applications in alignment with the priorities identified in the waste management strategy to consider the long term planning for the site. The role will be able to work autonomously and use specialist experience and initiative to drive projects from inception through completion. An understanding of local government legislation and procurement processes will be instrumental in the successful delivery of priorities.

Based on a 35 hour week, with actual days and times to be negotiated with the supervisor.
