Help support Noosa’s sustainability goals by playing a key role in the operation of Council’s waste and resource recovery facilities. In this customer-focused role, you’ll assist the community with responsible waste disposal, contribute to resource recovery outcomes, and help ensure the safe and efficient operation of waste facilities across the shire.
These positions are based at our Waste Disposal Centres and involve regular weekend work. Please note that under the provisions of Clause 15.2(a) of the Award, ordinary hours worked on a Saturday will receive a penalty of time and a half for the first three hours and double-time thereafter. Ordinary hours worked on a Sunday shall receive penalty of double time.
Waste Disposal Centre Cooroy rostered days include Saturday, Sunday and Monday (a total of 11.5 hours per week).
Waste Disposal Centre Pomona rostered days include Friday, Saturday and Sunday (a total of 11.5 hours per week).
You're a reliable and customer-focused professional who enjoys interacting with people and providing practical assistance. Comfortable using computer systems and handling financial transactions, you can work independently, follow procedures, and maintain high standards of safety and service in a busy operational environment.
