The Role

We’re seeking an experienced Dispatch Manager to oversee our busy dispatch area. You’ll lead a small team to ensure our trucks are loaded accurately and on schedule, working hands-on alongside staff to pick, pack, and prepare orders for delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and mentor a team of dispatch and warehouse staff (5 total)

• Coordinate daily loading schedules to meet delivery deadlines

• Hands-on involvement in picking, packing, and loading finished, powder-coated goods

• Maintain accurate dispatch records and paperwork

• Ensure compliance with workplace health & safety standards

• Identify process improvements to boost efficiency and reduce errors

• Load Rigid and Semi Trucks for deliveries to branches

• Hands on management role
  

Hours

• Monday to Friday: 7:00 am – 5:00 pm

• Every second Saturday (7am - 1pm OT)

Key Requirements

• Proven experience managing dispatch or warehouse operations

• Hands-on experience with finished powder-coated goods preferred

• Strong leadership and team-management skills

• Excellent organisational and time-management abilities

• Forklift licence MUST

• High attention to detail and commitment to quality
