Trade Operator

Location: Sarina/Rockhampton

Remuneration/Benefit: $130k + Super + Permanent Full-Time role

• Start on approximately $130k plus super and travel allowances with opportunities to progress
• Working mostly independent on local plant equipment
• 8 on 6 off roster minimal travel away from home

About the role:

As a Trade Operator within this team, you'll be part of a skilled team maintaining and operating specialised plant and heavy equipment that supports the safe and efficient operation of Australia's busiest coal rail network.

Your work will include:

• Mechanical maintenance, servicing and repair of plant equipment
• Fault finding and troubleshooting large machinery
• Working alongside experienced tradespeople and technicians

About you:

• Certificate III Engineering Mechanical (or equivalent mechanical trade qualification)
• Current driver's licence
• Strong mechanical maintenance and troubleshooting skills

 Highly Regarded Backgrounds

• Mining maintenance/Mobile plant maintenance
• Manufacturing and production facilities
• Defence maintenance environments
• Workshop-based maintenance/ Heavy transport and logistics
• Agricultural machinery
• Ports and bulk handling
• Power generation

Rail experience is not required.
