Practice Registered Nurse - Part-Time

We are currently looking for a friendly, professional & reliable Registered Nurse (APHRA registered) to join our Practice on a part-time basis. We are an Urgent Care Centre. The hours that we are currently looking for are Tuesday 12 - 8pm Friday 8-2 and every second Saturday 8-2 and there is also an OPTIONAL alternate Sunday 8-2 as well.

The person for this role must have commitment, strong dedication, enthusiasm and great communication skills ensuring customer service is to the highest standard.

Essential Requirements/Tasks & Responsibilities

To meet the requirements to be considered for this position you must be

• Registered with APHRA as a RN experience working in a Medical Practice is preferred

• Strong verbal & written communication skills

• Knowledge of Best Practice Software

• Immunisations qualification and experience 

• Current CPR Certificate

• WWC Check

• National Police Check

• Demonstrate effective time management skills

• Excellent communication and customer service 

In addition experience in the following

• Triage Wound Care

• Emergency Care

• ECG's & Spirometry

• Chronic Disease Management Plans

• Health Assessments

• Cold Chain management

• Maintain Immunisation Records with AIR

• Ordering vaccines
